Everything is part of the same jigsaw and helps strengthen the picture. Having heard/ seen all forms my knowledge is enriched more than if one was absent. Films I feel hold the most advantages and disadvantages, similar to Vortex, they allow us to see nuance and detail, without the need for transcription which can get lost in translation/ be misrepresented. The films can be watched again and again, now and in the future- so not just impacting current study but can be looked on with new eyes at a later date. Transcriptions will be from someone's subjective viewpoint, however clinical they attempt to be, they will unconsciously omit incidental details which could be realised to be pertinent at a later date.
