*This policy and procedures was set in nursery setting to make sure that children with a disabilities are not being disadvantage and observing children with an action plan worksheet with a program that practitioner with assist a children and the environment.

Definition of disability in the Equality act 2010 is a person that has disability and has mental impairment has a substantial and long term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day to day activities.

All staff and parents with SEND children to receive information on the new SEND COP and the children and families ACT 2014 and understand the process of an Education, health and care plan (EHCP). *
