- - - - Additionally, poppies were used as a symbol around the world to remember those who died in ww1 in military service.
        Remembrance- poet will always remember and treasure the memories he has of his brother.
      - The word wearing suggests that the bruise could be removed as simply as an item of clothing highlighting that the injury looks so small it seems unreal
      - The word ‘poppy’ represents everything from peace to death and even simply sleep.
        I think it highlights that the poet wishes that his brother is peaceful and happy in his afterlife and reinforces the fact that he looks like he is sleeping.
