Gerunds
Verb + (-ing)
enjoying, running, discussing, disliking, finishing, minding, suggesting, recommending, keeping, avoiding.
Usages
After prepositions of place and time.
I made dinner before

He looked unhappy after

his work schedule.
To replace the subject or object of a sentence
Lachlan likes

Jumping

Infinitives
To + Verb
to agree, to ask, to decide, to help, to plan, to hope, to learn, to want, to like, to promise.
Usages
After many adjectives
