chromosome- A chromosome is a long DNA molecule with part or all of the genetic material of an organism.
Diploid- Contains two complete sets of chromosomes, one from each parent

Dominant- Strong form of a gene, which is expressed even if the weak form is present
Recessive- The weak form of a gene, which is not expressed when the dominant form is present
An allele of a gene is said to be dominant when it effectively overrules the other (recessive) allele.

Meiosis- In meiosis, the parent cell divides twice and produces four daughter cells.
