      - Engagement- who it is shared with and how involved they are
      - Impact- the changes it makes.
      - The first 2 are connected. As, I suppose, are the 2nd two. Although, even if engaged if hands are tied or best intentions are absent then could fall on deaf ears.
      - Dissemination amongst academic community seems a bit ponsy. Could be knowledge for the sake of knowledge. Bolsters previous thinking or creates discussion.
      - Dissemination to and engagement with policy holders and practitioners has the opportunity to create the greatest impact/ change. Hopefully for the better. This in turn will/can connect with dissemination to, engagement with and impact on young people themselves, however, if P&P not involved could once again become knowledge for the sake of knowledge as needs the support and backing of policy and practice for impact to really happen.
      - Engagement can be thought of as a more prolonged and reciprocal process than dissemination
        
        This can happen at early stages of the research –
        
        Dissemination and engagement both refer to processes, whereas impact refers to an outcome which may be achieved through dissemination of research findings and engagement with research users.
