Sections are shorter and jumping back and forth: adds to the quickness of the action, reader adrenaline, creates tension. Plot coherence switching from one issue to another.

Death as a Metaphor (351).
Muldoon: "Maybe there is justice in the world after all" (306). Theme: Death is the final judge.
Dinosaurs as executioners/fates: Nedry poisoned/imobilized (just like he imobilized the park). Regis eaten by the juvenille Rex (after abandoning the kids). Malcolm is injured/imbolized (all words and no action).
Old Science/New Science as concept
Concept: Power Theme: Power gained through money is without discipline/restraint.
Knowledge is the strongest power. Diversified knowledge is power.
Just because we can, should we?
Concept: Man vs. Technology
Technology allows science to move too quickly for (humanity/progress/money). Although humankind created technology, technology controls humankind. Technology reveals mankind's flaws.
Malcolm
Greed and Downfall: Greed will lead to distruction/Greed never wins. (343). -Hammond saying not to kill the T-Rex.
Chaos Theory: analogy to rainstorm (343).
Issues
Grant and kids gone for a long time. Hammond not as concerned about them (greed and ignorance).
