FRAN MARCHI AND JUAN FERRARIS
Key Elements
Physiological respone
Physiological responses are the body's automatic reactions to a stimulus.
Behaviral response
Behavioural responses to stress are evoked from underlying complex physiological changes that arise consequently from stress
Subjective experience
The subjective character of experience is a term in psychology and the philosophy of mind denoting that all subjective phenomena are associated with a single point of view
We think the key elements are right and specially the part of behavioural responses to stress are very important, stress can really affect your life in many different ways
What Is Emotion?
Emotion is a state of feeling, and some strong emotions can make you take some decisions you might not normally take or behave in a way you might no normally behave
Theories of Emotion:
The 3 majors theories of emotions are physiological, neurological, and cognitive.
Emotions might not always be good ones and it is not good to be always happy neither because you need to have a balance
There are some emotions that are called basic emotions, because they are the ones all people feel and the most common ones.
In our opinion emotions are very important because imagine that you don't have emotions, you wouldn't have a life, you wouldn't have expressions, would be all the things the same.
Types of emotion
Paul Eckman established that there are 6 universal emotions
fear
disgust
sadness
anger
happines
surprise
Why are they considered universal emotions?
They are considered universal emotions because they can be showed by facial expressions.
We think this 6 universal emotions are okay because they are also the ones we almost feel every day
