      - • For example, in 1984, President Reagan signed an executive order that prohibited family planning clinics that received federal funds from informing their clients about abortion options (known as the Mexico City policy).
      - • However, within days of taking office in 1993, Bill Clinton revoked the order. Then, on 22 January 2001 - his second full day in office George W. Bush reinstated the Reagan order. But on 22 February 2009, it was revoked again by Barack Obama.
      - • Predictably, in 2017, Donald Trump signed an executive order to reinstate Reagan's order. Even more predictably, President Biden revoked Trump's executive order in January 2021.
      - • Biden spent his first 100 days signing executive orders to reverse a host of Trump policies, including the construction of the wall on the Mexico border and the ban on transgender people from serving in the military, and ordering a complete review of the previous administration's immigration policies.
