crustaceans: chalky exoskeleton
myriapods: segmented body many pairs of legs
insects: 3 parts to body, 3 pairs of legs, and 2 pairs of wings
arachnids: body in 2 parts and 4 parts of legs

fish: scales, fins and gills
amphibians: soft moist skin and breed in water
