Major functions of the Reproductive system (male and female)
The female reproductive system produces eggs, secretes sex hormones, provides a site for fertilization, gives birth, breast fees.

Anatomy of male reproductive structures
The male reproductive system consists of the penis, the testes and epididymis, the scrotum, the spermatic cord, the prostate gland, the bulbourethral glands and the seminal vesicles.
Anatomy of female reproductive structures
The female reproductive system consists of the vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix, and ovaries.
Hormones of the reproductive system (male and female)
Males have follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) which stimulate spermatogenesis and luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulates the production of testosterone
The hormones found in the female are follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, estrogen, and progesterone.
Events of the female hormonal cycles
During the female reproductive cycle you go through phases such as menstruation, the follicular phase, ovulation and the luteal phase. Menstruation includes the period along with pain as well as some mood swings.

Methods and Classification of contraceptives
fertility awareness- monitor fertility signs and abstain or use condoms on fertile days
Withdrawal- Pull penis out of vagina before ejaculation
External(male) condom- used on penis during sex to prevent egg and sperm from meeting.
Spermicides-used in vagina during sex
Female sterilization- surgical procedure that blocks eggs from meeting sperm and prevents the release of eggs from the ovaries
Internal(female) condom- used in vagina during sex to prevent egg and sperm from meting
Diaphragm- put in vagina with spermicide
Male sterilization- surgical procedure that keeps sperm out of ejaculated semen
IUD- implant placed inside uterus that last up to 7 or 10 years depending on which you get.
Injectables- Shot in arm, hip or under skin every 3 months.
Pill- taken by mouth everyday at the same time.
