Suffering is caused by selfishness and humans. They believe that suffrering can be good because of the values it brings out in humans such as empathy or selflessness.
The five K's
Kanga: A small wooden comb, tucked into the hair at the front to symbolise a clean mind and body.
Kara: A steel/iron bangle worn around the wrist to symbolise god, the never-endingness of a circle.
Kachera: A loose pair of white shorts, symbolises change as they were not worn at the time.
Kesh: Uncut hair to symbolise holiness and strength.
Kirpan: A sword to defend the innocent.

Males take the name Singh meaning Lion.
Females take the name Kaur meaning Princess.
A Gurdwara is a Sikh temple or place of worship. They can perform acts of sewa here such as serving others or pray.
Contains the Guru Granth Sahib, the remaining Non-Human Guru which is a book full off hyms, prayers and teachings that Sikhs use.

Suffering is caused by being attached to things which will not last. Suffering is prevented by following the Eightfold path and finding the
'middle way' between self harm and self indulgence.
Began in Nepal when Siddhartha Gotama saw the four sights: An old man, A sick man, A dead man and A holy man.
There is no God in Buddhism, also, humans have no soul.
Founded by Siddhartha Gotama.
Goal is to reach Nirvana (enlightenment) become a Buddha and escape Samsara, the cycle of rebirth.
