Leadership - General Synod, which consists of bishops, clergy and lay people. The Synod meets annually and is led by senior Anglican bishop of country.

Ministry - Two types of minister: itinerant are full time and can be sent to minister anywhere; local are part time and work in their own local area only. Ministry is open to both men and women.

Sunday Service - Morning Worship - During this Methodists listen to readings from the Bible, say prayers for the needs of the Church and the world, and listen to a sermon from the minister.

Presbyterian
History/Numbers - Based on teachings of John Calvin Geneva. John Knox brought this teaching to Scotland and in the seventeenth century Scottish settlers brought it to Ulster.

Ministry - Ruling elders guide people in faith. Lay people play an active part. Men and woman can be ordained.
World of God/Bible - Central to Presbyterian faith and worship. Churches have a pulpit - raised platform from which the Bible is read at Worship.
