Access management in GA4
Any property or accout administrator may assign roles and data restrictions for other users in a GA property or account in the access management panel
These roles and data restrictions determine the view and edit permissions for product settings or access to the property schema
Standard roles - Standard roles impact a users ability to view and modify settings in the product, such as audiences, integrations, and data processing settings
-
Account level roles: assigning a role to a user at the account level grants them access to all properties in that account as well as the account settings
Property level roles: Account level roles: assigning a role to a user at the property level grants them access to single properties in that account as well as the account settings
Subproperty level role - Account level roles: assigning a role to a user at the subproperty level grants them access to single subproperty in that account as well as the account settings
Role unioning - When a user is assigned roles on multiple levels, they combine to the most permissive and attaching all data restrictions

Measurement protocol
The measurement protocol is a communications format that lets you send your own event data to google analytics over a https POST
It is typically used to send data collected asynchronously, such as CRM data or credit card validation information
The measurement protocol augments data collected by the web or app SDK, it does not replace it
For GA4, all Measurement protocol events require you to supply an API key, which ensures that the information is coming from a trusted source

Cross domain measurement
-
Cross domain measurement improves the accuracy of your reporting by unifying the measurement of users and sessions within a single data stream.
-
-
It is important to remember all of this size that you configure should be measured with the same tag for this data. That is they should be measured within the same measurement ID

If you are using a tag management system such as Google tag manager, you can enabke data collection using GTM.
If you are using a legacy tag, you should retag in order to begin collecting data in GA4

You can, create a google analytics 4 property, enable web streams based UA property, activate enhanced measurements, enabled data collection
Data collection will use your current gtag.js tagging and connected site tags to collect data for your GA4 property
