Brief
Now that you have developed the company logo and labels for your product, the next step is to develop the outer packaging that corresponds. When selecting your outer packaging take into consideration how your packaging will help promote, protect, preserve and transport your product. Also consider your printing constraints of an A3 page.

Part One
a) Evaluate the assessment and re-brief through the use of a mindmap or other brainstorming tools. Including but not limited to due date, technical specifications, aim of the assessment and submission requirements.

c) Research existing and innovative creative designs for outer packaging,
note trends and reference studios or designers
e) Identify how your packaging will meet the 3Ps and 1T and what elements you will include on your packaging, create a list or use of the “Fish Bone” graphic organiser
f) Brainstorm 4 possible construction styles for your packaging, gather and document feedback to narrow your selection

h) Plan the dimensions of your outer packaging and create a ‘net’ in Illustrator. Set up your file for cut line, fold line and glue areas correctly.
i) Explain the pre-press processes to consider when printing for packaging, including color management
