Personal Brand
At the moment I am working on rebranding my website and resume to be more in line with each other, my brand in the past has been more simplistic relying on greyscale with a splash of color then briefly I went for a more watery blue with a splash of grey and now I want to get more into a more modern look of black and white.

Organizations
I do not currently have a membership to any organizations but have been looking for some that would be low cost to join and come with more benefits than expenses
Fiscal Needs/Responsibilities
According to Indeed.com the position will have a starting pay of 62.5K - 66.5K
Benefits
health insurance, life insurance, and sick leave and will be covered according to the link
According to Google the cost for two people to live comfortably in Arlington, VA is $67,840. Arlington is a 16-minute Drive from DC and as I am only one person, I would be making that salary all on my own. Google also stats that the average cost of living in Ohio is $26,112 which is considerably cheaper but
Rent
In Arlington I was able to find a 2 bed three bath apartment for $2,800 and currently I pay $995 for a three bed two bath townhome in Bowling green which is a considerable jump until after my current and future wages are accounted for. at the moment I take home about $18,000 a year after taxes are deducted where I will be making over 3 times more than I am now after taxes are deducted.
Other Costs
According to numbeo.com the average monthly cost of groceries in Arlington is $427.45 at the moment I pay about $350 a month when I do not care about the cost and $90 a month if I am on a huge budget because I am saving for something a bit more expensive.
Me at work
Work ethic
When I am at work my first priority is to itemize what needs to be finished today, what didn't get finished yesterday (if anything) and finally if I get far enough in the day then what I can do to get ahead before I leave.
Job Values
What I value in a position is something that will keep me busy, and not always have the same outcome. I have a fear of going into wsork knowing exactly how the day is going to go. I enjoy structure but if I am doing the same exact thing and answering the exact same questions every day then I begin to get restless.
Does it fit?
I believe that this position will satisfy my needs because teaching students will never be the same, there will always be opportunities where a student will be able to teach me something and there will also be opportunities to grow as a teacher. While I cannot speak for if this job would fit my personality type because every time, I take a personality test I have gotten a different result, I can say that I have had experience tutoring independently and for a professor as a Course Based Consultant (CBC) and those experiences have always left me happy and ready for more.
Ethics
when it comes to teaching or even professing ethics will play a huge roll in performance, it is important that every student will be treated the same and have equal opportunity for instruction.
Long Term Goals
upon review my proposed budget fits in with all of my needs and wants upon graduation
For financial stability I plan to place money aside with every paycheck into a savings and mutual funds, the savings will be for all of my needs that could arise out of the blue and the mutual funds will be largely to insure that upon retirement I will be able to have a secure and financially stable rest of my life.
Long Term Goals
in the long term I plan on owning a house for myself one day and being able to afford all of the upgrades necessary to be as sustainable as possible when on my own. I wish to be able to rum a candle making business right off the bat and have my own car by the end of the summer.
Current Spending Habits
Currently I have the luxury of being able to save half of every paycheck as my financial needs have been met for now but upon graduation I will have student loans that need paid off and the process for paying them off will be a long road to journey so I am hopeful that I will be able to make it in the end as my current spending habits have shown me that I can do it.
Life-Long Learner
After Graduation I plan on going to grad school and getting my instructional design degree which will help me in my goal to become a professor.
thinking ahead in order to accomplish this goal it will become necessary for me to get a master's degree and further my education
The design industry has had a lot of growth in the last couple of years, some of which have been overlooked. At my current job we have noticed that because of COVID a lot more people are trying to get designs that they can put on garments and sell for their own branding purposes and what is even better is that most of the people we have made these sales to have been successful in their endeavors so I believe that freelance work has a huge chance to make a comeback and look forward to how it will change the industry.
