Graphic Designer and Packaging Engineering in Ohio
Me At Work
I would describe myself as a dedicated and hard working individual. I love the work I do. I can accomplish physical task in addition to all the work that needs to be done at the desk such as creating samples and much more.
I feel like being creative and working with my hands is perfect for what I am looking for in a long term position. Being able to craft samples and apply my own style to some designs may prove useful.
I value any work that allows me to use my creativity and even my own hands for my projects. Having the ability to form my creativity in person would be a good opportunity.
It is important for me to follow a very straight forward and simple mission statement and being able to stand behind any organization that I work for. I want to make sure these people that are around me are of the same ideals and want to create the best products they can for those who are buying them.
Long Term Goals
My budget is going to more so remain the same after college. In terms of groceries. Only real changes would be looking for a nicer play to stay. Possibly only increasing my rent and utility payments by at most $1,000 per month.
For long terms financials, I would love to have a retirement plan, and a down payment on my own house, insurance (health, dental, car, home, etc.)
I would like to be able to relocate parts of my income into a retirement plan as well as investing in property as my career continues.
Average salary is looking to be any from $45k to $65k. This is dependent on whether or not benefits are included or not.

Financial Responsibilities and Needs
Average salary is looking to be any from $45k to $65k. This is dependent on whether or not benefits are included or not.
Cost of living where I plan to live is not much more expensive, in terms of rent and groceries there is almost no difference, maybe no more than $500 and that is almost entirely in rent.
The average rent ranges from $625 to $1200 for a two bedroom apartment (facility and location vary).
My average cost for groceries would be around $300-$450 monthly.
Life-Long Learner
I plan to continue learning about this industry when I am finished with school through means of employment and various other trainings I may find on the internet or through my place of work.
One of the largest trends in the packaging industry is sustainability. Which is important for te industry moving forward as far as I am concerned. Sustainability should not be a trend, it should be a staple in the industry.
There is expected to be growth within the industry as the older generation is heading out and clearing a path for new workers. As well as the opportunity to create new innovations in packaging and make the industry grow from new practices.
I do not think I would need to continue my education within a classroom to succeed in this industry, if I am trained properly and I am placed in the correct environments, I am more than confident I can make the most out of my Bachelor's degree.
