What do you value in a job position? I value, value. I hope to have a position where I feel heard and appreciated by the rest of the team. Along with potential to grow. I value being able to expand my experience and learn more rather than being stuck in the same patterns everyday with the same tasks.

What part does honesty, integrity, or a code of ethics play in the performance of your type of work? Some work can be dont remotely. This type of work relies completely on honesty and integrity. It would be easy to take a 30 minute nap if you are working remotely; there is no one to tell you no! Knowing what is morally right is critical to every position, but remote positions especially. I would explain integrity as: Doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. This would be staying on task, being productive and working hard no matter where you are working or who you are working with.

Describe your work ethic. I was born and raised having a strong work ethic. I lived on my family farm until I moved to college. A day never passed where we were not working our tails off to assure the work was done before dinner time. I think this part of me shows in my professional life when it comes to quick turnarounds, collaboration, and problem solving.

Does it seem that the type of work you will be doing in your career fits your personality type? Most definitely! I am an extrovert that enjoys speaking and working with others. This career path allows me to communicate with clients/customers on an everyday bases and use my creativity to come up with new ideas.

What plans do you have, once you have a steady salary or income, to contribute to your healthy financial future? (Roth IRA, 401K, Profit Sharing, Retirement, Savings, etc.) I currently have a Roth IRA and Savings account. I would like to have 10% of each paycheck go into my savings account and 20% into my Roth IRA.

What are your long term financial goals? (ex: saving for a car, downpayment on a house, retirement plan, graduate school, investments) In the next 2 years, I want to be able to put a downpayment on a house as well as purchase a newer (used) car.

How are your current short-term spending habits contributing to your long term financial goals/budget? I have a monthly budget that I follow religiously when it comes to spending. I think this will help manage my money and save more for my long term financial goals.

How are you anticipating to continue to educate yourself about your industry after graduation? After graduation, I anticipate I want to learn more on digital marketing, social media and entrepreneurship. I am currently enrolled in an Entrepreneurship online course and hope to do the same with social media and digital marketing.

What are the trends within your industry right now? A huge trend in the restaurant business right now is contactless delivery. Social media trends are very impactful to businesses, that is why I wish to dive deeper into social media.

Thinking about your 5-10 year career plan, do you need to think about pursuing an additional degree to accomplish what you want to within your industry? Looking 5-10 years ahead, I do not think an additional degree is needed to accomplish my goals. However, I personally want to get my masters to help advance my career and know more about the industry.
