Me at Work
I find one of my strongest qualities to be my thought process through the work I create. I am not the type to rush a project but rather spend time understanding the little details and focusing on the bigger picture.
ENTJ Personality Type
I find that being an ENTJ corresponds with my future goals perfectly. "ENTJ's are strategic leaders, motivated to organize change. They are quick to see inefficiency and conceptualize new solutions, and enjoy developing long-range plans to accomplish their vision.
I value a position where I am able to express my ideas and creativity with a group of other individuals who also share similar interests. I enjoy being around those who are focused and can teach me things that I never knew about. I would like to surround myself in a position of endless artistry.

I believe I share an interest in the publication industry. Working for lifestyle, fashion, even geographic and travel magazines would be a huge goal for me. My personal brand would consist of a mixture between minimalist and clean and the alternative and edgy range of design and photography. I would like to think I am consistent in producing content that plays well in both of these areas, as I can adapt to each of these settings.
Long Term Goals
I believe just beginning a position like this after graduating school will be able to cover my lifestyle needs. I am definitely not saying I will be able to afford whatever I want but I definitely will not be struggling as this positions salary is upwards $60,000.
In the long term I would love to contribute as much as I could towards things like a Roth IRA or 401K. Growing up my parents instilled in me to be smart with my earnings and have always encouraged my siblings and I to live in our means so that someday the money we save will be used appropriately in our old age.
After moving out on my own and experiencing life outside of our childhood home, I have gained so much knowledge towards the reality of finances. I have made many mistakes along the way but I am grateful to say that my spending habits now are not a concern because my past experiences taught me what to expect and what I am able to handle. I have kept myself on a strict budget while attending college and paid off most of the credit I currently have.
Management positions or Senior Photographer salaries in this industry range between $62,000 to $135,000.
Life-Long Learner
I have a passion for photo and design which helps in any learning opportunities that may come my way. Whether I begin my journey outside of college with photography being more of a side hustle or an actual in-house job, I know I will make it in the industry either way. I am focused and ready to showcase my skills to whoever and wherever I find that will have me!
Trends within the photography field are always changing, which is another reason why I am in-love with it. In particular, we are experiencing a shift in the evolution of environmental and activist photography. I believe people are showing an appreciation for real life the natural world which I am so happy to be a part of.
Within the next 5-10 years, if I needed to go through extra schooling I believe I might want to try and accomplish something within the marketing field. I am a very creative person and think this kind of field would help strengthen a different sense of creativity within myself that I might be good at.
