The adventures of Tom Sawyer - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Huck Finn is Tom´s friend. He is a homeless and poor child. He can’t go to school, so he plays every day in the river. He's playful too. There is the main reason why the people don’t like him. He is very relaxed and friendly.

        Injun Joe is the murderer who scares Tom and Huck.

        Muff Potter is a friendly man who was accused of the murder of the doctor.
      - Polly is Tom’s aunt. She is an old lady and very strict with Tom. Aunt Polly is impatient, serious, and gets angry so easily with Tom, although she loves him. She has grey-haired and brown eyes
- - - - The trial, a court building.
        
        MAIN EVENTS
        
        Muff Potter's trial started and Tom said what happened to save him. Now Tom is happy but very afraid because Injun Joe escaped.
    - - Summer vacation stared, and Becky went away with her family. Tom was sad, but the Muff Potter's trial stared. Tom and Huck were afraid because they remembered that night. Neither of them had talked about that night but they knew that Potter had not killed the doctor.
        On the third day, Tom confessed what happened. The people were surprised and Injun Joe went out of the building. Everyone wanted to hear about the boy's adventure in the graveyard.
        Tom was happy, because he helped Muff Potter. But he couldn't sleep well because he was afraid of Injun Joe.
  - - - They went in the river, and played to were happy. So much so that they decided to stay all day and the town did a boat search because people thought they were dead.
        Tom came home that night in his bedroom window and stayed under his bed. Finally Tom, Joe and Huck decided to come back on church day for everyone to see them.

        Tom, Joe, and Huck escape having adventures in the river.
  - - - Tom went to school and everyone wants to hear about his adventure. Becky and Tom were angry at each other, so she didn’t ask Tom to have an adventure.
        Later, Becky opened the teacher's new book, Tom realized and protected her. Now Tom was dropped and had to stay after school. Becky stayed and waited for him because she wanna told him that he is a very good friend

        Tom went to school on Monday morning, all the children wanted to hear about his adventure.

        MAIN EVENTS
        
        Tom tricked his friends into painting the fence so he would complete his aunt's punishment because he didn't go to school.
    - - Tom misses classes cause he doesn't like going to school. So the angry aunt Polly decided to give him work. He had to paint the fence.
        Some friends came over to laugh at him and his punishment. But Tom, let his friends believe that was a wonderful job. Now, his friends wanted to paint the fence too. He made a deal with his friends so they could paint the fence. Then he showed the fence to Aunt Polly as if he had done it when he received food from his friends by painting while he was doing nothing.
  - - - The graveyard and the school.
        
        MAIN EVENTS
        
        Tom runs away from home to go to the cemetery with Huck. And they witness the doctor's murder.
    - - Huck and Tom decide to go on an adventure at eleven o’clock. But Tom was late for school, and the teacher was angry. He sends tom to sit with the girls. Tom sat near to Becky. They introduced each other. They stayed in the schoolyard to talk about their feelings. But she was angry with him so she walked away, and Tom was unhappy.
        At eleven o’clock Tom went out of his bedroom’s window to the yard. He met with Huck. They walked to the graveyard and stopped behind some big trees to talk quietly. But there was a noise, three men came into the graveyard: the doctor, Muff Potter, and Injun Joe. Injun Joe killed the doctor with a knife. Tom and Huck saw everything and they walked away because they were afraid. They decided that they could never talk about what happened.
  - - - The school and the river.
        
        MAIN EVENTS
        
        Becky is still angry with Tom, so he is sad like Joe Harper. They go to the river with Huck to enjoys and misses classes again.
    - - Tom is sad cause Becky didn't go to school for many days, so he said to aunt Polly that he is sick and he wants to stay home. Aunt Polly give him some medicine, however, he gave the medicine to Peter, the cat. Aunt Polly saw the cat and punished Tom to go to school even though he didn't want to. When he arrived, he wanted to see Becky, but she went with Alfred to the school.
        Joe Harper was sad too. They planned to run away. They went to the river, and Huck was there. At the end they went across the river and had an adventure there.
