What it is
process of tracking all requisitions that are off-ship.

Process
Upload latest status into RSUPPLY
Outstanding orders screened by RSUPPLY and CMP; orders that are out of status periodicity are flagged
S1 performs work to “clean up” status; common actions:
Find better (more up to date) status in a different supply source (IGC vs One Touch, for example)
Find better status by calling/ emailing
Find better status because part was received onboard
Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO)

BE PRESENT at EVERY TRAINING
RPPO must be a Petty Officer
RPPO must complete Repair Parts Petty Officer PQS and pass a test before becoming a qualified RPPO
RPPOs must keep an RPPO Log
This log should contain all of the items that have been placed on order through the supply system.
Also the log should annotate when the items were ordered and received or cancelled.
By keeping a good log, this will make life easier on the RPPO, Supply & the parent department.
