Factors for successfully managing change
will depend on the extent to which the managers have been successful in managing the following
managers need to have created an environment of mutual trust between themselves and their employees
communication is vital
in a fast-moving business employees become used to change
inclusion of employees in the process means more chance of successful outcome
making small changes to a plan to satisfy employees makes it easier to introduce bigger changes
management and employees need to work together and co-operate at every stage of the process

change may occur as a natural part of the operation of the business
will require operational changes in the way the business is run on a day to day basis
management of change is likely to be one of the most difficult roles facing managers and owners
change is inevitable
