Hardware and Software Used
Hardware
DSLR Nikon D3400
For the images that were used for the cover page, the contents page and the double page spread, I utilised a DSLR Nikon D3400 that was lent to me. As previously mentioned in the last question, I did not have any prior experiences with using cameras, so the lender of the camera guided me on how to use it.
iPhone XR
Alongside the Nikon D3400, I also used my personal iPhone to experiment with taking pictures.
Macbook Pro and Macbook Air
I utilised both my personal Macbook Pro and the school's provided Macbook Air in order to both edit and store the photos for my final designs. The photoshop work was done on the Macbook Air and the final constructions were done on Canva on the Macbook Pro, as the storage was larger, allowing me to have more drafts.
Software
Adobe Photoshop
For the images used on my cover, contents page and double page, I used Adobe Photoshop in order to make the initial/preliminary changes to the images before using the pictures on Canva. As previously mentioned, I was inexperienced with the software, and went down the route of trying to familiarise myself with its features by playing around with it and getting advice from my peers who were more knowledgeable, as opposed to watching tutorials.
Canva
I used Canva quite heavily during the creation of both my final products and my website. I utilised it present my research on the magazines that I took inspiration from and then I used it to arrange the images and text for the layout of my cover, contents page and double page spread. I also used it to further edit pictures after doing so on photoshop. It is a more simple and user-friendly programme that was easy for me to be proficient in using.

This was used to create my AS Media Coursework website where all my research, planning and creation was presented
Google Docs
I used google docs to create my scripts for the CCR and well as create the preliminary texts for the research and planning stages of my coursework. I also used it in order to grab the text for my cover page, contents page and double page spread as the fonts that I needed were not available on Canva, but were available on google docs.
Google Slides
I used google slides as part of my videos for the CCR, as well as for my proposal presentation
iMovie
I used iMovie to edit all videos and audio, for the development stage and the CCR
