1st:
In the beginning Oliver Twist was born in a sickly infant workhouse. The parish surgeon and a drunken nurse attended his birth. His mother kisses him on his forehead and dies, and the nurse announces that Oliver's mother was found lying in the streets the night before.
2nd:
Oliver was officially sold to Mr Sowerberry as a worker for him. Mr Sowerberry's other apprentice (Noah) on the other hand got jealous of Oliver Twist. Noah always mocked Oliver, once he brought up Oliver's mother, Oliver lost it, he threw a fist to Noah's face, then he ran away.
3rd:
When Oliver arrives into London he meets a kind boy called Artful Dodger. Dodger says he can take Oliver to his caretaker (Fagin) to look after him. Oliver soon meets Fagin and Fagin shows him the roots of becoming a thief.
4th:
Dodger takes Oliver out to begin his first day stealing, that didn't go so well for Oliver. Oliver gets the blame for stealing out of Mr Brownlow's pocket, the guards had taken Oliver in to get hanged, but Mr Brownlow helped Oliver. Mr Brownlow took Oliver in, and Oliver met Rose and Mrs Bedwin. Oliver was assigned to take a pile of books back to the library so Mr Brownlow can see if he is trustworthy. Oliver ends up being taken by Nancy so Nancy can send him to Bill Sikes, Nancy regrets doing such a thing.
Last:
In the end Nancy ends up sending a letter to Mr Brownlow and Rose saying 'Meet me in the alleyway'. Nancy tells Rose and Mr Brownlow everything, Rose believes her. Nancy says that a guy named monks with a mark on his face wants to kill Oliver. Rose knew it, she tried to find Oliver the next day but instead she sees Nancy dead on the floor. Mr Brownlow had Monks arrested and Oliver found his way back to Mr Browlows home.
The theme of the story is about how the poorest people in society were treated the worst.
In the beginning Oliver was born in a rundown orphanage. He was then sent to a workhouse.
Oliver ran away to London and was found by a kind lad named Artful Dodger, Dodger took Oliver in to a abandon place with the caretaker Fagin and the crew of boys.
Dodger taught Oliver ways to steal from peoples pockets, and coincident or not he bumped into Mr Brownlow, Mr Brownlow took him home.
Charles Dickens is the Author of many books including Great Expectations and Oliver Twist. He was such a popular writer only rich people could afford his books, he created smaller sections such as magazines for poorer people to buy
