Fixed pulleys
A fixed pulley is a wheel that has a groove for a rope, cham or belt to go round it t rotates around an axle that ls fixed to an immobile surface
A fixed pulley is balanced when the effort, F, is equal to the load R (F=R)

The effort needed to move a load with a moveable pulley is half oi the effort needed with a fixed pulley.
Compound pulleys
This is a set of fixed and moveable pulleys, often called a block and
tackle.
