Lack of Leadership
The group has not divided tasks and assigned team roles
The project manager for the group is inexperienced. The owner of the company assigned the leadership role as an experiment
Leader is not setting goals for group
It seems like one of the team members is more concerned about the outcome of the project than the Manager of the project
The leader is not defining the "why" for the group
The team leader (Mandella) seems to be negative, which is bad for motivating the team
The team leader isn't very good at making decisions and assigning tasks
Ineffective use of Team Strengths
Each of the team members brings diversity and varied experience to the project; not being properly managed
The individuals with the marketing and graphic design background are not being properly utilized for a project that involves marketing
The group has two weeks to turn in their project, and little progress has been made
The leader of the group is not setting goals and deadlines for the group
The group's meetings are not starting on time. Causing the group to lose time as a group. The late meetings are not being addressed by group
The team has blown through half of their time and has nothing to show for it
The group only meets once a week. That is only 4 meetings to come up with 2 whole marketing campaigns
Lack of direction of the project
The owner of the company created this group as the high profile team , what does that mean?
The project from the onset didn't seem well-defined. Were the expectations of the owner of the company clear to all participants? What did a successful marketing initiative mean for the participants in the group
The Team leader has a hard time being assertive and making decision, as a leader these traits are crucial to guiding the team effectively
Some of the team members, specifically Angela tend to be distracted and has lack of motivation
Group Dynamics
Group doesn't seem to working cohesively to achieve goals
The only woman on the team is only working part-time and seems uninterested
One of the team members (Angela) is shy, so it is hard to get her to talk on her own
One of the team members has yet to prove she works well on the team
Team has a hard time bringing up important issues like addressing how Cory and Angela always arrive late to the meetings
