21st century entrepreneurship is about creating and growing for-profit businesses and other types of social enterprises that add value beyond the traditional bottom line
21st century entrepreneurs recognize how the high-speed internet and cloud-based technologies can be used create global business opportunities with limited capital investment.
Helping other people understand the new team-based approach to business in a global economy and how to use technology to work from home or in a co-working space.
2. The changing characteristics of entrepreneurs with the introduction of social media
Disruptive technologies reshape customer needs and demands.
Big companies can disappear quickly as market conditions change
They need started to account for costs and environment risks that don't show up on a traditional balance sheet.
Entrepreneurship and creative thinking, are wiling to look at new ways of doing things.
3. Explain product adaptation in 21st Century
a. Explain internet business
A business that mainly operate on the internet. This type of businesses are done online and don't have a fixed location. Everything from the start till the end of the process is done on the computers and a connection to the internet.
b. Describe internet marketing and digital trends
Digital marketing
A broad term that describes a set of marketing strategies that use digital channels to promote your products or services. It also an umbrella term that describes anything with a digital platform to promote your business. Social media platforms and TV ads are prime example of these type of marketing. These type of ads aren’t limited to the web.
Internet marketing
Also known as online marketing, is a subset of digital marketing that includes strategies you use to market yourself online. Internet is a must to work and connect with leads to be qualify as an Internet marketing strategy. Internet marketing focuses on building an existence on the web.
c. Discuss the success story of the successful international and local Internet business

Amazon.com
The largest online retailer in the world, it was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994. Amazon is an online retail company that sell products such as book, e-books, electronics, and more. One of the reason for Amazon success is due to its huge selection of product at competitive prices. Another reason is because of Amazon Kindle, the leading e-book reader in the world.
Local Internet Business:
Shopee Malaysia
One of the largest e-business in Malaysia, Shopee is a platform that provides the customers with an easy, secure and fast online shopping experience through strong payment and fulfillment support. In 2018, Shopee's Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) hit US$10 billion with over 600 million transactions on the platform. In 2019, Shopee has 500 million total views on Shopee Live and over 1 billion plays of Shopee's in-app games.
