Velocity
A vector quantity which represents the speed of something in a particular direction. This can also be a negative number.

Instantaneous speed is the speed at a particular moment, while average speed is total distance/total time, and average speed includes breaks and pauses as well.
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity, or the change of velocity/time. It is said that something accelerates when either its speed, direction or both change.

You can find the area under the graph, or the displacement of the object, by dividing the graph into different shapes and finding the area for each.

Types of quantities
Scalar quantity

Examples: Length, Area, Volume, Speed, Mass, Distance, and Density.
Vector quantity
A physical quantity which can be described using magnitude, unit and direction.
Examples: Displacement, Velocity and Acceleration.
