ELECTRICITY. ELECTRICAL ENERGY: All materials are made up of very small particles called atoms.
We can classify in 3 types: protons, neutrons and electrons.
Protons: positive charge
Neutrons: neutral charge
Electrons: negative charge

ELECTRIC CIRCUITS:
An eletic circuits is a series of
intterconnected components thatan electric current flows through to prodce an effect.
POWER SOURCES: Supply the necessary electrical energy
LOAD DEVICES: Recivethe electrical energy
CONDUCTORS: Transport the electrical energy
CONTROL DIVICES: Regulate the circuit.
COMPONENTS OF CIRCUIT
BUZZER: Converts electrical energy to sound energy.
RESISTOR: Converts the electrical energy to heat energy.
LAMP: Converts electrical energy to light energy.
WIRE: The component that the electric current flows through.
BATERY: A gruoped set of cells.
ONE- WAY SWITCH: open or close the circuit when their are pressed.
CELL:supplies electrical energy to the rest of the circuit
PUSH SWITCH: Open and close the circuit but only while the button is pushed.
TWO - WAY SWITCH: have 2 posision, when we press them they change one way to another.
:CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS
Materials that let electric current flow through them are called conductors.
Materials that do not let electric current flow through them are called insulators
TYPES OF CIRCUITS:
SERIES CIRCUITS: In this circuis,all the components are conected one after other
PARALLEL CIRCUITS: In this circuits, the load devices are connected on different brunches of the wire.
SERIES- PARALLELCOMBINATION CIRCUITS: This circuits contain thevices connected in series and in parallel.
OPEN, CLOSED AND SHORT CIRCUITS:
CLOSED CIRCUIT:
A circuit id closed when the energy of the power sourthe reaches the load devices,so the electric current flows.
SHORTS CIRCUITS:
Occurs when the electric current is transported by the wires with out passing through a load device.
OPEN CIRCUITS:
A circuit is open when the energy of the power sourthe cannot reach the load devices,so electric cant flow.
