Student Example:
John is a second-grade student who has ADHD and Emotional Disorder. Currently, he is getting support from Learning Support, ESOL, and Counseling.
His first language (mother tongue) is Korean. So, he is getting ESOL support in both reading and writing, with an ESOL teacher. Math and UOI, he is getting support from the LS teacher who speaks his language. He is also working with the Counselor for social-emotional support. Because of the language barrier, he is having a hard time making friends in his class. the counselor is using social stories to help him with the social-emotional challenges.
