Needs, desires and demand: the need is an internal state of tension caused when there is no balance between what is required and what one has or possesses. The needs are usually linked to the physical state of the organism. Sometimes, when the needs are translated or enunciated in specific objects, we find the desires, that is, the desires are needs oriented towards specific satisfiers for the individual. The demand is the desire to acquire a Product, but with the addition that one must have the capacity to acquire it (economic, access, legal). However, marketing does not create needs, since these are inherent to people, although the practitioner of marketing guides the desires and stimulates the demand for a certain product and brand; example: need to quench thirst, desire to drink soda, demand for cola brand XX.
