Physical Appearence
Ferrets have long, slender bodies, even their tails. The average length of ferrets are 50 cm (20 inches)
They weigh between 0.7 and 2.0 kg
Their fur can be black, brown, white, or a mixture of those colours
Males are considerably larger than females

Habitat
They live in forests, mountains, farmlands, semi-deserts, steppe, and tundras
They are mostly found in Europe, Western Asia and North Africa
Characteristics
Ferrets are harmless, joyful creatures that live to explore new things
If they are excited, they perform a behavior called the "Weasel War Dance" that is them sideway jumps, hops or leaps and bumping to nearby objects
Diet
Since ferrets are strictly carnivores, they eat chicken, lamb, cow, mice, rabbits, cooked eggs (as a treat), and any high quality meat. Cat food is also an option, jut check if it has meat as it's main ingredient
Additionally, they need to chew on bones to clean their teeth
Habits
Ferrets spend 14-18 hours a day asleep and are active around dawn and dusk. They like to sleep in enclosed area like burrows
Lifespan
Of course, animals don't live that long and ferrets live up to 5-10 years
