It´s a form of energy that lets negatively charged particles move to one atom to another
Electric current is the flow of electrons from one atom to another inside a conductive material.
conductors and insulators
Conductors are mostly metals such as Gold, Silver, Aluminium or Copper.
Insulators are mostly different types of wood, plastic or cardboard
ELECTRIC CIRCUITS
CONDUCTORS:
Components transport the electricity energy from the power sources to the load devices.
LOAD DEVICES:
Components that recive the electrical energy from the power soucers and convert it to othere energy.
Example:
Motors, lamps ...
POWER SOURCES:
Components that suply the necessary electrical energy of the rest of the circuit in order to move electrons. Example:
Batteries:A gruped set of cells
CONTROL DEVICES:
devices that regulate the circuit. The main types of control devices are one-way switches, push switches and two-way switches.
CIRCUITS:
circuits are controllet by switches that open and close when pressed.
OPEN CIRCUITS:
Off:the lamp is not lit. The electric current does not flow.
CLOSED CIRCUITS:
on: the lamp is lit. the electric current flows and reaches the lamp.
There are two types of curcuits:
Paralel and series circuits
CONVERTING ELECTRICAL ENERGY
HEAT
When electrons move they create heat
LIGTH:
we can convert electricity to light via load devices
MOTION
we can conver electricity to motion using a motor.
SOUND
we can use electricity to make soun via microphones
