improving life on land
setting the scene
As for people, not surprisingly, the Sahara Desert has one of the lowest population densities on the planet. In the 3.5 million square miles of sands, mountains, and waterways live just 2.5 million people. Obviously, the population is the largest near lakes and rivers. Even so, the majority of the people are nomads. this could mean that our base could help people transport items and get to places faster in emergency's.
since the desert is so hot many people will be needing to be transported water to survive and so will there animals so out base will help them with their water needs
The need for medical assistance is starting to grow in deserts and in remote villages because hospitals are miles away
With this outpost the hospital can come to them, and they can be treated on the spot or moved back into a safer facility
This will help the population grow and allow villages to expand and get better trading with other parts of the county
If we can tackle the medical and health side of things, we can help villages grow and make life better for less fortunate people
The users of our services will be small villages around the Sahara desert which require supplies and medical assistance
these problems need solving so the 2.5 million people who inhabit the desert have a better quality of life
education
you could educate people on how to sterilize water and how to grow food for the animals and use them for surviving
you could also teach them about crop rotation
you could teach them about sanitation and how to prevent disease with plumbing
potential clients could be charities that want to help people that are less fortunate
water and food
you could set up wind turbines to generate electricity so they can purify water
the chosen problem affects all the small villages and small groups of people in remote parts of the world without power or clean water
the use would benefit by getting clean water and some power to the village for cooking or other things they need like hot water
