CELL: cell suplies electrical energy to be rest of the circuit. Cells have a positive terminal and a negtive terminal; this lets them suply electric current to the circuit when they are connected.
Battery: a grouped set of cells.
Resistor: a load device that opposes the flow of the elctric current. Converts electrical energy to heat energy:
Push Switch: Push switches open close the circuit but only while the button is pushed. These devices can either be normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC), depending on what they do before they are pressed. NO switches can also be called push-to-make switches and NC switches can be called push-to-break switches:
Lamp:converts electrical energy to light energy.
Wire: The component that the electric current flows through:
Two-Way switches: Two-way switches have two positions. When we press them, they change from one position to the other. They are also called changeover switches:
Motor: converts electrical energy to kinetic energy:
Buzzer: converts electrical energy to sound energy:
One-Way Switch: One-way switches open or close the circuit when they are pressed. One position opens the circuit and stops the electric current from flowing through it; the other position closes the circuit and lets the electric current pass:
All materials are made up of very small particles called Atoms:
Electricity is a form of energy that lets negatevly charged particles(electrons) move from one atom to another.

Materials thet let electric current flow trough them ( for example, copper, tin, aluminium, silver and iron) are called conductors. Materials that do not let electric current flow through them (plastic, paper, textiles, wood, etc...) are called insulators:
-
Open Circuit: A circuit is open when the energy of the power source can not reach the load devices, so the electric current can not flow.
Close Circuit: A circuit is close when the energy of the power source reaches the load devices, so the electric current flows.
Series Circuits: In this circuits, all the components are connected one after the other.
Parallel Circuits: In these circuits, the load devices are connected on different branches of the wire.
SERIES-PARALLEL Combination Circuits: These circuits contain devices connected in series and in parallel.
Electrons cannot move spontaneously; there has to be a component that causes this flow of elctrons. That is the job of the power source, which can be a cell or a battery:
An electricity circuit is a series of interconnected components that an electric current flows through to produce an effect (like light, heat, sound or motion).
Short Circuit: In a electric circuit, a short circuit occurs when the electric current is transported by the wires without passing through a load devices.
Convertin electrical energy: Electrical energy can be converted to other types of enery: Light, Heat, Motion, Sound, Chemical and Magnetic.
Energy and the environment: Of the many activities we do every day the mayority use electricity. The production transportation and consumption of electricty all have an impact on the enviroment to varying degrees. This impact can be local or global.
