CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS
CONDUCTORS
: gold, silver, aluminium, copper.
INSULATORS
: wood, plastic, cardboard.
DEFINCION OF CONDUCTOR
: material that let energy current flow the energy tthroug the them are called conductors.
DEFINICION OF INSULTATOR
:An electrical insulator is a material whose internal electrical charges cannot move causing a small magnitude of current under the influence of an electric field.
REPRESENTING CIRCUIT: ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS
We represent the electrical circuits with very simple drawing called an electrical schemtic. Every component has a standardised symbol representations of each of the circuit components mentioned above are showm on the following pages.
ELECTRICITY
PARTS OF A ATOM
: electrons(negative charge), protons(positive charge) and neutrons(neutral charge)
ELECTRICITY
is a form of energy that lets negatively charged(electrons) move from one atom to other.
ELECTRIC CURRENT
is the flow of electrons from one atom to another inside a conductive matirial.
ELCTRICAL ENERGY
is the most common from of energy because it is easy to obtain, it can be transported over long distances and it can easily be transformed into many other forms of enrgy
CREATORS

ELECTRIC CIRCUITS AND COMPONENTS
Components that supply the necessary electrical energy to the rest of the circuit in order to move the elctrons.
An electric circuit is a series of interconnected components that an electric current flows through to produce an effect (like light, heat , sound or motion).
Components that transport the electical energy from the power source to the load devices; in other words, the electric current through this components. For example wire.
Components that recive the electrical energy from the power source and combert it to other types of useful energy.(motors, lamps, buzzers and ressistors).
Devices that regulate the circuit; in another words, they allow or prevent the flow of electric current through the circuit.the main types of control devices are one way switches, push switches and wo way switches.
Componentsof a circuits
Power sources
Supplies electrical energy to the rest of the circuit. Cells have a positive terminal; this letsthemsupply electric current to the circuit when they are conected.
Battery: A grouped set of cells
LOAD DEVICES
LAMB: comberts electrical enrgy to light energy.
MOTOR: comberts elctrical energy to kinetic energy.
BUZZER: comvers electrical energy to sound energy.
RESISTOR: a load device that opposes the flow of the electric current. Comberts electrical energy to heat energy.
WIRE: the component that the electrical electric current flows through.
CONTROL DEVICES
ONE-WAY SWITCH: one way switches open or close the circuit when they are pressed.
PUSH SWITCH: push the switches open and close the circuit but only while the button
Two way switch: Two way switchs have two positions. When we press them, they change for one position to the other.
OPEN CIRCUITS AND CLOSED CIRCUITS.
A circuit open when the energy of the power source cannot reach the load devices, so the electric current cannot flow.
A circuit is closed when the energy of the power source reaches the load devices, so the electric current flows.
TYPES OF CIRCUITS.
Parallel circuits: In these circuits, the load devices are connected on different branches of the wire. There are several possible paths for the electric current to flow thougt.
Series-parallel combination circuits: these circuits contain devices connected in series and in parallel.
Series circuit: In these circuits, all the current flows trough all the load devices. There is only one possible path for the electric current to the flow through.
