What is leadership?
Is a social influence process in which the leader seeks the voluntary participation of subordinates to reach goals.

Leadership Style Autocratic: The characteristics of this leadership style are focused on results and efficiency. They often make decisions alone and or in small groups and they expect employees to do what is asked. This style usually suppresses creativity.

- This type of leadership is the mark of confident leaders who map the way and set expectations, while engaging and energizing followers along the way.
- This leaders take the time to explain their thinking: They don't just issue orders. Most of all, they allow people choice and latitude on how to achieve common goals.
Leadership Style Servant: This style focuses on helping the team as much as possible. They believe that when a team member feels personally and professionally fulfilled, they're most effective and more likely to consistently produce great results. Servant leaders are found usually in non-profit organizations.

Coach Leadership Style: This style of leadership is one of the most advantageous because it gives a lot of feedback along the way. This style requires a lot of time but it has the benefit of knowing more in-depth the person's weaknesses and strengths to help them improve along the way.
Leadership Style Visionary: This style often focuses more on the ability to drive progress and change. They often focus on establishing teams and bonds of trust focusing on the bigger picture.
Leadership Style Democratic: This style is a combination between autocratic and laissez-faire. A democratic leader is someone who asks for input and considers feedback from their team before making a decision. It's an excellent style that promotes creativity and innovation.
Leadership Style TransformationaI: concentrates on the development of their followers as well as their needs
Leadership Style Transactional: leaders focus on the relationship between performance and reward to encourages subordinates to improve performance
Leadership Style Pacesetter: This leadership style is most effective for driving fast results. These types of leaders focus on performance and give almost no feedback. Newer teams should not involve this style. The pacesetting is helpful for fast-paced environments.
Leadership Style Laissez-Faire: Involves the least amount of oversight. This style can work if you're leading highly skilled, experienced employees who are self-starters and motivated. To be most effective with this style, monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
Leadership Style Bureaucratic: This style is really similar to autocratic leaders since they expect the team members to follow rules. This leadership style focuses on fixed duties within a hierarchy. There's little room for collaboration and creativity. This style is most effective in highly regulated industries like finance, health care, or governments.
