: is a form of energy that lest negatively charged particles
Electric current
: is the flow of electrons one atom to another inside a conductive material

: is the most common from of energy because it is easy to obtain

Insulators
:do not let electric current flow trough them ( plastic, paper, textiles, wood )
Conductors
:let electric current flow though ( examples : copper, tin,aluminium , silver and iron
3:Electrical circuits
power sources:
components that supply the necesary electricalto the rest of the circuit in orden to move the electrons
conductors:
components that transport the electrical energy from the power sources to the load devices
control devices:
devices that regulate the circuit ; into other words they allow or prevent the flow of electic current through the circuit)
load devices:
components that recive the electrical energy from the power and covert it ti other types of useful energy
Open circuits and closed circuits
closed circuit
: the electric current flows and reaches the lamp to light it
open circuit
: the electric current does not flow
types of circuits
Series circuits:
in these circuits, all the components are connected one after the other
parallel circuits
: in these circuits, the load devices are connected on diferents braches of the wire .

Responsible use of electrical energy
: we save energy , we save money too but more importantly
eviroment :
electrical energy is generated indutrialy in popwer stations , wich convert a form of energy
convierting electrical energy

heat: wen electrons move throuh a conductor or load decive , they creat friction with the material as they pass trough , wich produce heat
Motion: we can also convert electricity to motion using a motor . The effect obtained when we make an electric current flow through a motor
Light: we can convert elenergy to light through load devedes such as incandescent lamps
sound : we can use electrical enrgy to transmit sounds through micropones and we can produce sound effects trhough sirens , buzzers and bells
