- - - - I can understand what I am feeling and think of next steps.
        
        When I am having a terrible, no good, very bad day I understand why and try to not think negative thoughts. I know that its best to move on with my day. One day I was late to school, split hot coco on myself, got my period, and lost my running shoes. i knew that I had to relax.
        
        During vocals class this week, we were going to have a test on intervals- that I did not feel ready for. I did end up crying, but I went to the bathroom and calmed myself down. Told myself its just one test- it wasn't going to mess up my life. I went back into class much more calm
  - - - I have strong sense of empathy and I'm not afraid to share my personal experiences with people
        
        If my life was a theatre, everyone would be a part of the audience. I am not afraid to share with people. I understand that sharing personal stories with people, allows them to connect with me, and can have a lasting effect on them.
        
        This year after a test a girl was crying near the bathroom- another group of girls was whispering looking at her; saying " what's wrong with ......" I went over to her. I didn't ask if she was okay because I know that's the worst thing to ask. I went over to her and asked if it was okay if I gave her a hug. I gave her a hug and whispered in her ear. I know what its like to be here. Because I do. and she does too. I told her it all was going to be okay and this one test didnt matter in the long run
  - - - I struggle with handling my emotions
        
        When In difficult situations I struggle with managing my emotions, sometimes its like my emotions have taken over and I'm just along for the ride. I often have outbursts, when I don't know how to handle myself. These out burts often happen when I am flustered
        
        When I am angry I get very rageful, and I don't know how to handle it without letting it out. Even though those people don't deserve it. Rather than just staying calm, I find a way to let it out. For example I was walking and my mum honked the car at me and yelled at me to stand up straight and flipped her off.
- - - - I love making people laugh- I understand the power of a smile
        
        Whenever my family and friends are having a bad day I try and cheer them up. Maybe by cracking a joke, or maybe just being myself. I try to carry good energy around with me so that I can lend it to other people
        
        This year in drama, we worked in clown and clown nose. I loved it. Honestly at the start I struggled with not talking, but I leaned how to love it. You being raw infront of an audience and them laughing. Bring a smile to their face by just being yourself.
  - - - I often sign up for new activities, where I don't know anything about the topic, nor the people who I will be doing it with
        
        The summer of 2019, my friend charlotte and I didnt have anything to do. We signed up at the NYC( Nation Yacht Club) for a sail camp, which we did all summer. We loved it, and did it for the next two summers. Now we have our CAN sail 3.
        
        When I was younger my favorite place in the whole world was the rom. We had seasons passes and everything. They sent an email to all pass holders saying there would be a summer camp for kids. I begged my mum to sign me up for it even though I didn't know anyone. She did. I had a blast and did in for the next 4 summers. I now know the ins and outs of the ROM. Most kids found it boring, but I thought it was the best thing in the world
        
        This year as my personal project, I signed up for a film class. I wanted to learn more about film making and would it be something I was interested in. Film making is a very collaborative activity and I learned how to work with strangers.
  - - - I have anxiety and sometimes I let it get the best of me when trying to conquer things that scare me
        
        I play competitive tennis, when I play important games, my brain gets in the way and I am not able to execute the skills I have spent so long perfecting. I struggle with my serve, but I worked to fix it, so I never miss. Then once I step up to the line, all that goes away and I miss it in the net.
        
        When I write tests in school, I get really nervous and mess up on so many questions because I second doubt myself. Part of being brave is believing in yourself and on tests I dont
- - - - I take time to love an appreciate the world around us
        
        In my free time I like to hike. One of my favorite trails is the cold Creek Conservation Area. There are amazing views of the white fields in the winter. They also have smaller more remote trails.
    - - I have a passion for music and find time to either listen or play it
        
        I have been a singer for the majority of my life, both individually and choirs. I have had to learn how to read music. I take vocal lessons to expand my skills
        
        You will often see me with a set of headphones in, listening to music is an easy way for me to focus.
  - - - I don't see the world and situations as equations
        
        When I look at situations and how I should handle them, I look at the people in them, as well as what have I learned from past mistakes. Its not as simple as variables it tends to be much more complex than that.
      - I allow myself to struggle while making desicons
        
        I don't make pro and con list when making an important decision, I just think about both and then go with the one my heart is pulling me towards. What my gut feeling is telling me. I does make me a poor decision maker, but I find that I feel better after making that decision.
  - - - I can communicate with all different types of people which allows me to understand situations better.
        
        My ability to talk and understand people becomes very helpful when I am resolving conflict. I understand multiple parties and can see what the solution each party wants. Which allows me to think and come up with the best solution. I often do this with my friends. 15 year old girls cause lots of unwanted drama.
- - - - Great communicators
        
        I will talk to anyone who will listen, but I will also listen to anyone who will talk
        
        I travel by myself a bit, and often times make conversation with the person sitting next to me. This summer I sat next to a musician who was working on getting his degree is music.
      - Enthusiastic
        
        I am always happy to do anything
        
        When I was younger we were learning about biomes- we all put in our votes for which biome we wanted to do and no one wanted to do wetland. Our teacher said that someone had to do it- so I volunteered. I was so ready and created the best pamphlet and diagram on the wetlands
    - - Good Natured
        
        I find that people find me very approachable
        
        I have no difficulty starting conversations, and while talking to shyer people I have no struggle putting a smile on their faces. I crack jokes, and talk about common interest. No matter where I go I can connect with someone. I am always ready to talk
      - Festive
        
        I love enjoying things with other people
        
        When my sister and I were little- my mums bestfriend used to get my sister a gift on my birthday. Most people would find this offside- which at first I did, but it was almost more fun sharing my birthday with her.
        
        Both my sister and mum are horseback riders and although I am allergic- I love going to the show with my sister. She loves it so much, and watching my stone cold sister have fun- is the best thing ever.
    - - Disorganization
        
        I find myself enamored with things that aren't important and forgetting about things I should do.
        
        For example I left my running shoes at home when I needed them for badminton- because I was excited for pratice. Had I taken a second to slow down, I wouldn't have forgetten them.
        
        I avoid boring tasks
        
        My papers folder- which I keep in my backpack is a mess- there are papers flying everywhere which I could easily lose. Honestly I kind of like the messiness of it. All the work that i've done. All that hard work.
        
        My room is always a mess- unless of course my dad demands that I clean it. I don't need to waste time cleaning it when it doesn't bother me.
      - Restless
        
        I hate doing nothing, I feel like I am wasting time
        
        I pack myself with activities after school everyday. I play tennis, badminton, sing in a choir as well as an indivsual in festivals. I am also part of a film group.
        
        I feel like I could always be doing better
        
        Even when I do well on a test, or am invited to a birthday party, or someone says I sing well- I feel the need to better. I know that learning is crucial but I am starting to realize it is unhealthy- this idea that nothing is ever good enough.
