DTM3 planning tools brainstorm
One Note
One Note is not primarily used as a planning tool, however it does have the capacity to be used as one
Outlook Calendar
Google calendar is a great tool for organizing huge projects because it allows you to set dates for tasks and it reminds you constantly
It has one major downside and that is that it does not allows you to add much detail on a particular task, so each task listed on google calendar is very vague.
Depending on your time constraints and project length, google calendar can take lots of time to set up.
Trello
Trello is a planning tool which is used to plan out huge projects.
It is very simple to use and makes it easy to organize tasks. You can organize them in order of importance, sort them into finished and unfinished etc. The choice is yours and it all depends on what type of project your working on.
It does have a few downsides such as being hard to read when planning out huge projects. A Trello board used for managing a huge project can get very cluttered very quickly. This makes finding out your next task more difficult.
You can set due dates for tasks that you need to complete. When the due date for a task is nearing, Trello will send you a reminder via email.
