CMAH gene mutated in the genus Homo, it resulted in long, springy legs, big feet, powerful gluteal muscles and an expansive system of sweat glands able to dissipate heat much more effectively than other larger mammals.
The common ancestors of humans and other apes shared Neu5Gc, a type of sialic acid also known as N-glycolylneuraminic acid. Then, something changed. A genetic mutation stopped production of Neu5Gc in human ancestors, possibly because this mutation helped the hominids avoid strains of malaria that still infect chimpanzees today. Instead, human ancestors with the mutation made a different version of the sialic acid, Neu5Ac https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/8418

either find genes that are common of Homo sapiens and their previous generations or find genes that are lost. Compare that gene of homo sapiens with other closest animals.
discuss why was the mutation beneficial to humans or why not. Ex: it gave them this possibility since now they live on the wild and no in caves so their sleeping schedule changed,
or they gained mauscles due to hunting. That shows how adaptation lead to mutation leading to evolution.
compare and contrast genes

State that the three causes of evolution of Homo sapiens that you are going to be focused on. They are going to be mutation, natural selection and adaptation
Maybe state what the three types of evolution are:
Divergent evolution, Convergent evolution and Parallel evolution

Hypothesis: Adaptation and natural selection lead to mutation which then caused the evolution of human species giving them advantages to survive in their current environment
In this essay I going to talk about how mutation effects the evolution of Homo sapiens. State that mutation can be anything that changes of the base sequence leading to down syndrome, cancer etc but say that in the essay you are going to focus only on mutations that gave an advantage to the evolution of the fittest which is Darvins theory
Discussion
Reflect on how natural selection and adaptation lead to mutationr leading to an advantage for the Homo sapiens or a disadvantage
