Chapter 1
Atticus Finch, practice law, and he realizes that he don't like criminal law
Dill will spend the summer at the home of Miss Rachel Haverford, his aunt. He impresses the Finch children with his dramatic account of the film Dracula.
Scout, Jem and Dill become interested in the mysterious Radley house
They begin to tell Boo's story, and all the myths surrounding the family.
Begins the bet, Dill dares Jem to break through the Radley's front door, and finally, he ends up touching down at Boo's house.
Chapter 2
Dill leaves Maycomb, back to his home in Meridian
It's the first day of school and there's a new teacher, Miss Caroline Fisher, who is 21 years old and new to Maycomb County Schools.
The decimal system of the Caroline teacher.
The discussion between Caroline and Scout because Scout know how to read and write.
And then the situation in relationship with Walter Cunningham and that he don't have food for lunch. And all thing related with money and the economic situation of Walters family.
Chapter 3
Scout feels demotivated by school. But then his family persuades him to stay in school.
Miss Caroline screams at the sight of a louse jumping from the head of one of the children in the class.
Jem invites Walter Cunningham to lunch when he learns that Cunningham has nothing to eat.
Chapter 4
As the end of the school year approaches, Jem and Scout discover two "Indian pennies" in the same hole.
Dill returns to Maycomb for the summer
One afternoon, when he passes by the Radley's house, he notices something in a hole and finds chewing gum in it.
Scout again criticises the teacher's teaching system.
