the narrative is linear and will make people believe that if you buy the product then your life will follow or be similar to this narrative
mise en scene
costume,hair and makeup - her dress is the same as one she had wore in her movies (intertextuality) and the dress has the same colours as the chocolate bar . her hair and makeup is flawless meaning if you buy this product you will be like her too
setting - this is set in cetara, italy which is a similar location to where one of her movies where filmed so if the audience saw this they would feel nostalgic as it is from the movie a roman holiday
props - a food cart is used to disrupt the narrative at it stops her journey whilst she is sat in the bus. the car that the man is offering her a ride in carries her to her location and carries on the narrative
lighting - natural lighting is being used throughout but the lighting is much darker on the bus but once she is in the car it is much brighter as the sun is shining , connoting happiness
camera angles - there is a close up on audrey as she is eating the chocolate and also when she looks in her bag to open the chocolate there is also a close up. this creates a main focus on the product

the model is wearing pearls and they connote wealth which is relatable for the target audience as the demographic would be A-B
the sell line "the new posh" is already suggesting that its aimed at the upper class

the font of the masthead is delicate and pink revealing that its a feminine magazine
there is a cover line that mentions the "millennial sloannes", this is a place where only very wealthy people live and visit
another cover line "who is at the top of everyone's party guest list (and whos at the bottom)" this shows that they value this status and that there is competition

parallel universes and alternate dimensions are used to create escapism for the audience and to also follow the conventions of sci fi
special effects and cgi is used to create an atmosphere, this is used when the character April enters a parallel universe through a portal and when her eyes turn red and also when there is a focus on her hand

costume ,hair and makeup -the characters are dressed in casual clothing and the females are wearing minimal makeup and the audience of teens could relate to this
setting - it is mainly set in coal hill high school which is the same high school presented in doctor who and this is intertextuality. if the audience watching this was also a fan of doctor who then this would be nostalgic for them . this is an appropriate setting as the majority of characters are teachers and teens and this is where they would spend most of their time
camera angles - a birdseye view is being used in the classroom setting to create tension and there is a close up on April when she is becoming aggited . there is also a close up when her eyes light up red as this would make the audience curious
lighting- in the classroom there is dim lighting with a shadow covering over parts of the characters faces to create mystery

there are mainly headlines and information with only a few images as the audience would be more interested in getting all the information the can
this is a broadsheet which costs more with lower circulation due to the masses of information
on the website , you have to pay to read a newspaper article but the audience wouldn't mind this as they believe they are getting quality source of information
