What is SDL?
Specific learning disability can be defined as a disorder in one or more of the basic brain functions that have to do with understanding or in using language, spoken or written, that can appear as an inability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or to do mathematical calculations. These can include conditions such as perceptual disabilities, brain injury, minimal brain dysfunction, dyslexia, and developmental aphasia. They can be simply described as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia
