Glaciers 🧊
Types
Mountain glaciers:
It is formed in high mountain areas. Then the ice mass advances slowly for the slope of the mountain, 2 centimetres per day.
Parts
Cirque
It is the highest part of the glacier, where there is a lot of snow accumulation and ice formation.

Continetal glaciers:
The continental glaciers are a masse that cover up a big extension of a region polar. The mass of gel they advance until the sea wear they break, and they transform in a big iceberg.
Icebergs
Icebergs are found and created in continental glaciers, especially in Antarctica or Greenland.
Diferent landforms
moraines
The moraines are a fragment of rock ripped off for the glaciers are transported slowly until the front of glaciers where are they created the moraines

-
U-shaped valleys
The fierce erosive action of glaciers produces U-shaped valleys, which are much wider than river valleys. Are valleys that have U form.
-
Erosion process
plucking
Ice infiltrates the cracks in the bedrock and breaks off large chunks as the glacier moves down the valley, these fragments get trapped in the glacier and are dragged along with it
