        Common drugs include : POVIDONE-IODIN GARGLE & BETADINE SORE THROAT GARGLE
        
        POVIDONE may be used as a mouthwash and also treat minor throat infection.
        
        BETADINE it can be used to treat infection with these microorganisms.(bacteria , fungi , viruses , protozoa and bacterial spores).
      - III. Anesthesia
        
        This agent comprises throat lozenges that contain local anesthetics. It is a small ,sometimes medicated tablet intended to be dissolved slowly in the mouth to temporarily stop the cough and lubricate irritated tissues of the throat ,possibly from the common cold or influenza.
        
        Commonly used for dental anesthetics
        
        LIDOCAINE which help to prevent the urge to close the throat (GAG REFLEX) , which might make the procedure more difficult. It is also a local anesthetic that starts to numb the lining of the mouth and throat 1-2 min after application.
        
        Common drugs include : LIDOCAINE , BENZOCAINE & COCAINE
      - I. Antibiotic groups
        
        Common drug include : NEOMYCIN
        
        It is an antibiotic used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria.
        
        It works by affect the bacteria's production of certain proteins that are necessary for their survival
        
        It caused the bacteria to produce abnormal and faulty proteins that can ultimately kills the bacteria and clears up the infection .
