-Some people became slaves by selling themselves into servitude to pay of their debts,this type of slaves would be let as soon as their contract name came to an end.

-Urban and rural slaves both lived in their rooms that were far removed from their masters,this was an effort to keep slaves seperated from freemen and women.Their quarters were usually near storage facilites.
