Green sanctuary refers to a site in Mindanao named Pikit in Cotabato where Moros live. According to locals, travelers or tourists who want to pass through and stop in Pikit will undoubtedly be shot by the Moros. The Muslim community of the Philippines, known as the Bangsamoro or Moros, is the country's non-Catholic minority. According to the story, there was a datu who ruled over the entire area. He was so nefarious that he could murder anybody who defied him. Every early evening, the sari-sari businesses were already closed, and no one stayed outside since Datu Mantel was set to travel around the entire place. Datu Mantel shot and murdered an innocent alcoholic one night while going down the street. He also pushed himself to the position of chief of the organization. There was also an occasion in which Datu Mantel was seeing FPJ's film in a movie theater. The film has a scenario in which FPJ kills Moros, and as a result, he becomes furious and shoots the screen, the cinema house refuses to play FPJ's films ever again.
