You are watching T.V. in your living room when suddenly your show stops…

- - - - When you open up your phone, you see that all that anyone is talking about is this mysterious new virus that is infecting many people across the world. Maybe you should call your mom at the farm and check on her, she doesn't have a cellphone and she might not have heard about the news. However, then you think she might be busy right now. Do you want to call her?
        
        Yes - Call her, you'd better make sure that she and your dad are okay
        
        When you call her, she answers the phone after the third ring, she apologizes for taking so long to answer the phone, and explains that she and your father have been feeling sick since yesterday. As you tell her about the news that you just heard about, you begin to wonder, "what if she is sick because of the new virus?" She seems to have a similar thought process to you and seems distraught. Do you ask her if she knows where she got the illness from or do you focus on tying to calm her down?
        
        Calm her down - there is no point in her freaking out right now
        
        You get her calmed down, but now that you think about it, it is still important that you get to the bottom of what kind of illness she has. you're pretty sure that there's no way it can be the new mystery virus anyway...it's best to ease everyone's mind by figuring out what she has got.
        
        Press her for details about who she has been in contact with lately
        
        You ask her who she has been in contact with lately, and she says the only people that she has seen recently are Robert and Anna, who live on the next farm over from your parents. You grew up with Roberta and Anna, and have remained fairly close to them since moving out of your childhood home, so you have your phone number. Do you want to call them, or do you want to continue your conversation with your mother because they probably just have the flu anyway, right?

        No, she is probably fine, you don't want to cause her any more worry than she already has, and she doesn't really talk to anyone other than your dad anyway, so she will be fine.
        
        You eventually realize how serious the situation is. It seems to be almost like a zombie apocalypse. You manage to keep yourself safe for a while. Eventually, you become more worried about your parents, so you decide you must go check up on them
        
        Your car has been in the shop being fixed since before this whole thing started. Do you want to take the bus to visit your parents, or borrow a friends car?
        
        Borrow your friend's car - you don't feel safe on a bus right now
        
        You borrow your friends car and drive the few hours to your parents' farm. When you get there, they are nowhere to be seen. The house is full of everything that would have always been there (food, furniture, clothing). While you are looking around, you hear someone violently banging on the door.

        When you go to get on the bus there seem to be some sick people. You begin to feel worried. Do you want to continue on with the bus, or turn around and get off before the bus leaves?

    - - You walk across the street and knock on the door. Linda opens the door and invites you inside, but she looks worried about something. Do you brush it off, or ask her what's wrong?
        
        Ignore it, if she wants to tell you, she will.
        
        She tells you about this new virus that she heard about. She says it seems to be infecting people and turning them into "zombies." This seems crazy. Do you want to go home or stay at Linda's?

        You return home, but on the way home, a very distraught woman approaches you. She runs up to you and she bites your arm. You are shocked by this. You push her away and run to your house

        You decide to stay at Linda's
        
        You stay at Linda's for a while, and then you head back home. You lock yourself in your house, but after a few days, Linda comes knocking at your door. You let her in, but she doesn't seem like herself. After a minute, she lunges at you and tries to bite you. You see that you have something near you that you can hit her with, do you want to do it or not?

        You realize that your stomach is growling, so you get up at make yourself some lunch. While you are cutting up vegetables to go with the sandwich you are making, you cut your hand very badly. Do you want to go to the hospital, or do you want to try to deal with it on your own?
        
        Stay home - you can just put a bandaid on and hope for the best

        You arrive at the hospital but the is a line all the way around the building. Do you want to try to wait to get inside, or just go home?

        You stay home for the rest of the, and it seems that you receive a call from pretty much everyone you know. Eventually, you realize the severity of the situation and lock your doors, board up your windows and take up residence in the windowless spare room in your basement

        You are waiting in the line... There are a lot of people who seem to be exhibiting some very strange symptoms. Many of them are becoming aggressive and almost zombie-like, but obviously zombies are not real, so you will be fine, right? Do you still want to stay in the line?

        Continue to wait. The line is moving very slowly and you feel like you've been waiting forever. Suddenly you feel a pain in your right shoulder and you realize that someone has bitten you - what the heck?!?! You immediately begin to feel very sick.

      - Go to the park chill - there's not much you can do about the situation anyway. You car is in the shop, so do you want to walk to the park, or take the bus?

        You go wait at the bus stop and get on the bus. You notice that it is much more full than it was usual. You go find one of the only empty seats on the bus and sit down. The person beside you begins acting very strangely and then you hear him making terrifying growling noises. You are just about to get up to get away from this weirdo when you feel him bite your arm. Do you want to confront him about this craziness, or get out of there?
        
        When you try to see what this crazy guy was thinking and what is wrong with him. He Just gives you a look and continues growling. Could this have something to do with the virus that's been going around?
        
        It is clear that you're not going to get anywhere with this guy, so you decide that the best course of action is to get off the bus
        
        Get out of there immediately. You don't want to be near him anymore.
        
        You exit the bus, but you are fairly close to your destination anyway. Why let this ruin your whole day?
        
        You make your way over to the park, but you begin to feel very woozy. You begin to think that this could be related to the bite. Could he have infected you with something? There was definitely something wrong with that guy

        Walk - it's nice out anyway
        
        You walk to the park, but once you get there you notice a group of people acting very strangely - they seem to be on drugs or something. One of them approaches you and starts making growling noises at you. You turn to run, but he grabs you. You can feel another one biting your leg, and at this point you realize that this could be the virus that you heard about on the news. Do you want to return home, or go to the hospital to try to get treatment?
        
        Go to the hospital - hopefully there is something they can do for you
        
        You start walking towards the hospital because it is only a few blocks away from the park, but by the time you get there there is a huge line that wraps all the way around the building. You have started to feel ill. Do you want to wait in the line, or do you want to go home?

        You leave and catch the nearest bus, but when you get home, your condition continues to get worse and worse. Eventually, you are no longer yourself

      - Stay - these are your parents and something is clearly wrong, so you should be here to take care of them.
        
        You decide to stay with you parents, but it is useless. They have both become aggressive and you can they are not who they were the last time you saw them. The only thing you can do is lock yourself in the bathroom to keep them from attacking you again. However, while you are in there, you feel yourself becoming ill. You begin exhibiting the same symptoms that your mother described having when you talked to her on the phone earlier. You become very scared, but eventually you can feel your consciousness slipping away
        
        You have become a zombie. The end

        You spend the remainder of the apocalypse in your home

        You manage to survive the rest of the apocalypse in the bunker with your collegues
