Jeff Ament was born on March 10, 1963. He is the bass guitarist in Pearl Jam. He started playing the bass guitar when he was a teenager and liked playing along to Ramones, The Clash, and The Police records He later quit college in the middle of his second year. He moved to Seattle with his old band Deranged Diction.
Pearl Jam, helped popularize grunge music in the early 1990s and that continued to be a respected alternative rock group into the 21st century.

Matt Cameron was born on November 28, 1962 and is the drummer. He was born in San Diego. He started playing the drums at an early age. At the age of thirteen he and some of his friends played in a cover band called Kiss.
Stone Gossard was born on July 20, 1966, and he is the rhythm guitarist. The first band he ever joined was the March Of Crimes, his time with the band was short it introduced him to the emerging music scene in Seattle.
Eddie Vedder was born on December 23, 1964 and is the lead vocalist. Eddie received a guitar at the age of twelve from his mother, and he used it as a method of comfort. He said, "When I was around 15 or 16... I was all alone—except for music."
